Hello, i use ajax linked select boxes for input my category and sub category product where category linked to sub category after i select category. can anybody help me how can i to edit the category and sub category where in the category and sub category box not "PLEASE SELECT" option but the name i have choose before, so we can know what category and sub category before and we choose new category and sub category from drop down.

let me understand the effect you want

user selects Category, sub category box loads subcategories
and prompts "PLEASE SELECT" for user to select subcategory
user selected subcategory and submits form
Then page shows again select boxes without selected values,
that is your problem right?

If yes, then you have to set the selected_value parameter
in add_select_box function the values from $_POST

add_select_box(db_table_name, key_field_name,
description_field_name, order_field_name,
selected_value, tag_name, tag_id, [extra_tag_attributes]
, [extra_where], [select_prompt_text])
